Day 10 Helps to Intercession. What to Pray

For God’s Spirit on Our Missionaries. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.!” (Acts 1 v 8)

What the world needs today is not only more missionaries, but the outpouring of God’s Spirit on everyone whom He has sent out to work for Him, in the foreign field. God always gives His servants power equal to the work He asks of them.

Think of the greatness and difficulty of this work— casting out the evil one from his stronghold—- and also pray that everyone who takes part in it may receive and do all his /her work in the power of the Holy Spirit… Think of the difficulties of your missionaries and pray for them. ———————How to Pray; Trusting God’s Faithfulness.

Hebrews 10 v 23; Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who has promised, is faithful. and also Hebrews 11 v 11; By faith Abraham, even though he was past age, —and Sarah herself was barren—- was enabled to become a father because he considered Him faithful who had made the promise.

Just think also of God’s promises to His Son concerning his Kingdom, to the church concerning the heathen, to His servants concerning their work, to yourself concerning your prayers; and pray in the assurance that He is faithful. He only waits for prayer and faith to fulfil them. “The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it”(1Thessalonians 5 v 24)

Take individual missionaries, make yourself one with them, and pray until you know that you have been heard. Oh and, begin to live for Jesus Christ’s Kingdom as the one thing worth living for.
