Day 8 What to Pray-How to Pray

For the Spirit on All Christian Workers…. “As you help us by your prayers, then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favour granted us in answer to the prayers of many” (2 Corinthians 1 v 11) With the many workers in churches, banks, railways, government, armed forces, schools, businesses and many other organisations , God be praised for this. How much more would these Christian workers, in all these different places, achieve if they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Let all these workers realise they have to be ‘born again’ John3 v 3, and filled with the Holy Spirit, with power, Acts 1 v 8 . Pray for them.

How to Pray. With Definite Petitions. “What do you want Me to do for you?”.. ‘Lord I want to see’, he replied. (Luke 18 v 41) Goodness me, what a question to ask someone who is blind, the Lord knew what the man wanted, yet He asked. The utterances of our wishes emphasizes our needs. Be very definite in your requests. This verse is in the Bible for a reason, be definite in your requests. Intercession is not the breathing out of pious wishes; its aim is in believing, persevering prayer, to receive and bring about blessings.
