Day 7

What to Pray. For The Holy Spirit’s Power on Ministers. “I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of The Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me” (Romans 15 v 30) Here Paul urges believers to join in his struggle by means of prayer. ——– He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us. On Him, we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us. ( 2 Corinthians 1 v 10) There are a great host of ministers in the Church of Jesus Christ., and do they need prayer!! What an influence it would be if they were all clothed in the power of the Holy Spirit. Think of your own minister, if he does not “have” The Holy Spirit , ask for it to h.appen, and see your church change, for the better. …. “I am going to send you what My Father has promised,, but stay in the city until you have been clothed with the power from on high’ (Loke 24 v 49)…… “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you’ ( Acts 1 v 8a) ………………………………………… How to Pray; In Secret. “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret will reward you” (Matthew 6 v 6) However, there is nothing wrong with praying out loud in an organised prayer meeting, focus on addressing God, not on how you come across to others………. “After He had dismissed them, He went up on a mountainside to pray by Himself, and when evening came, He was still there (Matthew 14 v 23) Take time to be alone with God. Do not think that you have no influence or that your prayers will not be missed. Your prayers and faith will make a difference. Remember, prayer for all ministers, pastors, to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
