Day 4. What to Pray

For the Spirit of Holiness. ” May He strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all His holy ones” ( 1 Thessalonians 3 v 13) and “May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5 v 23 ) God is the Holy One,. His people are a holy people. He speaks, “I am Holy, I am the Lord who makes you holy. Jesus prayed, ” Sanctify them; make them Holy through Your truth. Paul prayed “Establish them in Your holiness. Pray for all saints, God’s Holy one’s, throughout the church, that the Spirit of Holiness may rule them, especially for new converts, for the saints in your neighbourhood or congregation, and for any you are especially interested in. Think of their special needs, weaknesses, or sins, and pray that God may make them holy. How to Pray. Trusting in God’s Omnipotence. Jesus replied “What is impossible with men, is possible with God” — (Luke 18 v 27) The things that are impossible with people are possible with God. We think of the great things for which we ask, how impossible they seem in light of our own insignificance. Prayer is not only wishing and asking, but believing and accepting. Be still before God and ask Him to help you know Him as the Almighty One. Leave your petitions with Him who does wonders. Amen
